County Champions: Congrats to our premier intermediate hurlers and their management team on their county final replay win over Thurles Sarsfields. Having won the Seamus Ó Riain Cup, the lads are now back up senior for 2024, with the added bonus of having a Munster intermediate campaign to come over the next couple of weeks. It was also a victory for those who do some tremendous work behind the scenes, without whom a club couldn’t possibly function, so hopefully Saturday was just rewards for all of their efforts. Thanks once again to our wonderful hosts Denis and Lil Maher, and all their staff for their hospitality on Saturday night. It made the occasion all the more memorable!
Next on the schedule is a Munster quarter final against Corofin of Clare in Nenagh on Sunday 5th November at 1.30pm.
Under-21 hurling: First round of the knock-out North Tipp under-21 ‘B’ hurling championship takes place this Saturday in Borrisokane v Borrisokane at 4.00pm. Best of luck lads.
