Dinner Dance: We had a great night in the County Arms Hotel in Birr for our Dinner Dance on Saturday night where our premier intermediate hurling team were presented with their North & County medals, by special guest and outgoing coach Brian Carroll. Thanks to all who organised and supported the event.
Juvenile Medal Presentation: Lorrha U13 ‘B’ Plate and Lorrha Rovers U15 North ‘B’ champions will be presented with their medals by Lorrha captain Michael Dolan and Tipperary’s Jake Morris at our joint celebration with Lorrha camogie club on Saturday, 20th January at 7.00pm in the Tony Reddin Centre, Moatfield. Everyone welcome to celebrate with our players. DJ and light refreshments after.
Athletics Training: started on Friday night in the Tony Reddin Centre with Amanda O’Farrell showing the boys and girls techniques to increase their agility and fitness. It continues next Friday, and all are welcome, primary school children aged 10 and up at 6.30pm, secondary school at 7.15pm.
Membership: With all the 2023 celebrations over, it’s almost time to get back out on the field, which means that membership is now due. It must be paid before participating in any training or game. €40 for juvenile and non-playing members. €60 for student with gym membership. €100 for adult with gym membership. Membership can be paid on Foireann or Clubforce, the latter where you can also sign up for the weekly club lotto where there are a number of special rates.
