Junior ‘C’ Hurling & new scoreboard: Our new electronic scoreboard was put to use for the first time last Sunday in the North Junior ‘C’ Hurling Championship game against Shannon Rovers. Thanks to scoreboard operator Niall Duggan for his work. Unfortunately, the result didn’t go as planned with Shannon Rovers winning 0-13 to 0-9. The team will be out again in a fortnight’s time against Roscrea.

Social Dancing: Continues this Friday night in the Tony Reddin Centre from 9.30pm to the music of Dermott & Irene Ring.

Club History: GAA historian Seamus King has kindly agreed to update the Lorrha GAA history from 1984 to the current date. In co-operation with Seamus, Rose Mannion has kindly agreed to update the Lorrha Camogie history for inclusion in the forthcoming publication. Anyone with information on camogie such as years that finals were reached and or won, people in charge of teams, the committee, players who played with the county and photographs etc.…, contact 0868647166 or email: roselmannion@yahoo.ie.

Euro-Millions Syndicate:  tickets are still in circulation – both online and in person ahead of our new campaign which starts on Tuesday, 1st October. The books of tickets have been distributed to most players and parents, and all efforts to sell tickets are greatly appreciated. This is our major fundraiser for the year so make sure to get involved. And remember, if you’re not in, you can’t win!

Well Done: to Rose Mannion and The Nenagh Guardian winning Best Front Page in the Local Ireland Media Awards with Rose’s story of the local sheep kill of early 2023.
