Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club President Philip McIntyre passed away on Sunday night. He was part of the North Senior Championship winning team of 1956, and subsequently was a mentor and club officer for many years. May he Rest in Peace.
Senior Hurling: Hard luck to the seniors on their 2-17 to 1-17 loss to Toomevara in the opening round of the County League division 1 on Sunday in Tony Reddin Park. They are out again in a fortnights time away to Roscrea.
Minor: Well done to Lorrha Rovers on their 2-10 to 0-5 win over Cappawhite last Sunday in the opening round of division 3 of the County Football League. This Sunday, they welcome Rockwell/Rosegreen to Ballinderry at 3.00pm in the first round of division 3 of the County Hurling League.
Mower: Our robotic mower is back in action on the field. Please take goals, cones, nets, and anything that could damage the mower off the pitch as it will get caught in the nets.
Club History: With the updated GAA and Camogie Club History due to be published this June, some information remains outstanding because it is not readily available through print media. This is a reminder going out to people who were involved with the Lorrha camogie club between 2002 and 2016/17, to come forward with whatever information you may have.
