Intermediate: The Intermediates made it three wins in a row in Division 3 of the County League with a 2-19 to 2-17 win over Burgess in Kilcolman on Saturday, David Fogarty’s late goal snatched the win. Lorrha’s final group game is at home to Ballingarry on the weekend of 15th May where a win will secure a semi-final.
Junior Hurling: Well done to the junior hurlers who came from eight points down at half time to defeat Moneygall 1-15 to 3-7 in Moneygall last Friday. The win sees Lorrha into the knockout stages ahead of their final group game away to Borrisokane on May 7th.
Under 19: Well done to the U19’s who defeated Moneygall/Clonakenny 0-16 to 1-9 in the first round of the North ‘B’ League last week. This Wednesday they play Borrisokane in Moatfield at 7.00pm
Inter-County: Best of luck to Colm Fogarty and the Tipperary under-20s in their Munster semi-final against Cork in Semple Stadium this Wednesday.
