Premier intermediate hurling: Well done to the lads on their 2-23 to 0-19 win over Burgess last Saturday in Division 2 of the County Hurling League.
We held a minute’s silence for Christy Molloy before the game, with his memory inspiring the lads to a terrific performance. Christy was wing back on the U-21 team that won the county final in 1966 and was also part of the North Junior championship winning panel in the same year. He subsequently played for the seniors and was a lifelong supporter of the club. Sympathies to his family, may he Rest In Peace.
Junior B Hurling: Take on Ballina away on Sunday at 12 noon in the North League.
