Premier Intermediate: Well done to the lads on their 1-31 to 1-22 win over Templederry Kenyons on Saturday in the North quarter final, seeing them through to the semi-final v Ballina on the weekend of July 4/5.
Junior ‘B’ Hurling: The Junior ‘B’s begin their North Championship campaign on Friday in Ballina at 7.30pm.
Under 14: Our 7-a-side U14 blitz was a great success in Tony Reddin Park on Saturday. Thanks to all coaches and helpers for contributing to such a fantastic day and a huge well done to the juvenile committee on arranging a festival of hurling. Naomh Eoin won the cup final, Kilruane MacDonaghs won the Shield & Lorrha won the Plate. Portroe, Toomevara & Naomh Eoin’s 2nd team completed the six teams involved, with all teams getting five games and a final. Thanks to the parents for the refreshments and Shane Lee, Joe Murphy & David Kennedy for refereeing.
The U14s host Rosegreen in the County ‘C’ Hurling Championship on Thursday at 7.30pm.
Social Dancing: Continues on Friday evening in the Tony Reddin Centre to the music of Criss Dallat from 9.30pm.
