Lorrha GAA notes – 19/7/22

Lorrha GAA notes

Lotto: There was No Winner of this weeks lotto jackpot of €12,000. The numbers drawn on 19 July were: 7-9-16-28.

1 Match 3: Martin Hough (Whitehall) wins €100.

Promoters: Thomas P Cahalan, Liam Reddish, Internet.

Next Monday’s jackpot has hit €12,100 with Team 5 in charge of the draw. Thank you for your continued support.

Intermediate: Well done to the Intermediate Hurlers on their North final win over Shannon Rovers. A report on the game can be found here. The lads begin their county championship campaign this Saturday against Carrick Davins in Templemore at 6.00pm.

Junior Hurling: The Junior hurlers next game in the championship is at home to Nenagh Eire Og on 30-31 July.

Under 19: The U19’s received a walkover from Burgess last week and now await the outcome of the game between Newport and Burgess to determine the next phase of the championship.

Euro-Millions clarification: The first two numbers on each of the lines are the “lucky stars.” In lines 2, 3 and 5, the second lucky star numbers are 9 in line 2, 6 in Line 3 and 7 in line 5.

We’ve twelve lines instead of six this term, which means we’ve increased chances of winning. If you sell a full book of tickets, you will be entered into a draw for a trip to New York – three nights accommodation and flights, kindly sponsored by David Fogarty and House Fitness. Tickets will be collected by the end of the month.

Cúl Camps: Well done to all who took part in the Lorrha Cul Camp last week, and thanks to all our coaches and volunteers.

Sympathies: To the Cleary family, Clonfinnane, on the death of Pat Cleary, who was a great supporter of the club.
